Hon. Mwashako Launches Badilisha Maisha Youth Movement in a colorful fair.

It all began during the campaigns when Wundanyi Member of Parliament, Hon. Danson Mwashako Mwakuwona promised to be a big brother to his constituency youth by making sure they change for a better future and impact their lives in different aspects. Therefore he came up with a movement popularly known as BADILISHA MAISHA YOUTH MOVEMENT whose aim was to involve persons aged between 18-35 years, which he launched during the constituency youth week.

The Wundanyi constituency week ran from the 26th to the 30th of August 2019. Having planned it for quite a while with no appropriate time for the launch, the renowned MP and his office decided to have a week affair that would allow him meet and interact with youths in his constituency.

Youths from the constituency entertain guests during the event.

The week began with Hon. Mwashako meeting youths in every location within his constituency. On Monday he met the youths at the Mgange and Mwanda locations, Wundanyi and Mbale locations were visited on Tuesday, while Wumingu location was visited on Wednesday with the visits coming to a closure on Thursday at Werugha and Kishushe locations. The climax of the week was the final meeting at the Dawson Mwanyumba stadium on Friday where people from all ages were invited. The wise seminars and praise and worship extravaganza was quite the treat as people turned out in large numbers and enjoyed themselves fully.

The week was supported by religious leaders who paid a major role in the location-wise seminars, as well as different motivational speakers, reformed youths, reformed inmates, recovering drug addicts, who all gave advises and talked to the people in attendance.

The event culminated with prayers more connections and interactions intended to pave way for a brighter future for the young folks.
