Taita Taveta University Bus crash at Josa, Wundanyi-Mwatate Road

Last week Friday, September 6th, 2019 the Taita Taveta University bus got involved in an accident at Josa area along the Wundanyi-Mwatate Road. The bus was ferrying 29 students and 3 staff members from the Ngerenyi campus. The students who are first-years had just reported at the university on Monday 2nd September and were headed for a talk for the final day of their orientation.

One casualty was reported while 15 were hospitalized and the rest were treated and released. The students were treated at the Moi referral hospital and the St. Joseph Shelter of Hope hospital.
