The world of football

Much to Kenyans disappointment our boys were beaten by the Algerians yester night in Egypt with 2-0 defeat. Algeria and Senegal are now leading the group after Senegal beat Tanzania in 2-0 win. Senegal and Algeria will be facing it off on Thursday and the Kenyan team will be facing their Tanzanian counterparts on the same day.

Watch out for today’s games as Ivory Coast takes up the South Africans, Tunisia and Angola face off, and Mauritania fights for a chance against Mali.

Here are a few highlights of the Algeria and Kenya game in case you missed it.

As we were busy awaiting the Algeria-Kenya game, the ladies from Nigeria were beaten 3-0 by the Germans on Saturday sending them packing from the women’s world cup 2019. Therefore Germany qualified for the quarter finals with a landslide and Cameroon was beaten by England 3-0. This simply means that all the African teams have left the tournament. Today Spain face off with the current champions the United States, and Sweden fights for a place in the quarter finals against Canada.
