TTU Alumni association offices finally opened. Prof. Barasa presides over.

A milestone! You can call it.

TTU fraternity finally, officially launched its alumni offices within the varsity grounds on 21st Wednesday. The event scheduled to kick off earlier in the day, however, had delays following the absence of the VC Prof. Barasa, who was meant to preside and unveil the plaque .

This was just a day to the 2nd Graduation Ceremony of the University since the Charter award.

The exercise was primarily spear-headed by the executive secretariat of the alumni association lead by Richard Kibengo, a class of 2012 graduate of the institution. Present as well were the executive members, Nice Njeri, a former student union vice chairperson, interestingly the first lady to occupy that seat. Equally there was Francis Maina a former student union president and also Carol Mbugua.

Dominant in the program was the commemorative tree planning, short speeches, the ribbon cutting and unveiling of the plaque, official opening of the office and the maiden signing of the Guest Book.

In his speech, the Chair of the association of Kibengo gave a sneak preview into the vision of the outfit the plans underway and encouraged students to generally embrace and be proud of the alumni status. He emphasized on the intention of collaboratively keeping it active and lively moving forward.

Barasa appreciated the chance, siting it as the first in his life to officially unveil a plaque. He encourage the student body to do good bearing in mind they were default ambassador of university, post-graduation.

In attendances a well were The DVC Finance, Pof. Too, The Varsity Public Relations office, Mr. George and the reigning Mr. & Miss TTU 2018, Felix and Drusilla.
