BIASHARA CENTER: The establishment and what it means to the county

The launch of the Taita Taveta Biashara which took place on 11th March, 2015 comes at a prime time for the citizenry of the county, particularly, the youths, women, persons with disability and the marginalized. This is a one-stop-shop facility for the empowerment of Small and Micro Enterprises (SMEs) at the County Level.

Thus the Center is envisaged as a focal support and reference point for planning and implementation of enterprises as well as coordination of respective training services. They are meant to catalyze employment creation and wealth creation thus leading to improved livelihood and economic growth hence lead to poverty reduction.
