Check out the Mr. & Miss TAITA TAVETA UNIVERSITY COLLEGE event if you missed out

Crowning moment: The former, Brenda crowns Phlegon.

24TH OCTOBER saw the TAITA TAVETA UNIVERSITY students’ fraternity held the Annual college beauty pageant. Basically aimed at getting the new title holders of Mr. and Miss TTUC.
The turn up was commendable. Over 1000 students attended the event held at the auditorium, courtesy of the creative arts club 2015/16 chaired by non other than Stanley

the judges

The event commenced at around 10.00 pm, with the opening acts mainly being both solo and group performances. Gladly represented too was the Ngerenyi campus whose dance group elated the ecstatic crowd and also gave the main campus’ dance group –DANCE MANIACS a run for their money

Cultural tunes originating from the shores of lake Victoria, to the hills of kisii, down to the great rift valley, up to the mountains of kikuyu, down again to the plains of Kamba land and finally to the beautiful coast, just to mention but a few, filled the auditorium as a celebration of Kenya’s diversity.

Amid the above, the models of the day dressed perfectly for the various categories stipulated by the organizers.

The Judges composition, Lect. Kitala and two external judges, Dinah and Bill Hoods had the verdict of the night.
