Girl up, Taita Taveta Chapter and Imara initiative have partnered up with voi4iov and The River Jordan Medical Center to give back to the community in a special way.
Considering the issue of menstruation and the lives of many young are often put to a halt due to lack of access to sanitary towels whenever during their menstruation period. Coupled with the tough COVID-19 times, these youth groups alongside the collaborating organizations have taken the initiative to start a drive that will help them impact the lives of these young less fortunate girls, especially with a regional focus.
Of course, various outfits and organizations as well as various levels of government, continue to lend support concurrently in such issues , however it may never be enough. Therefore this is a special invitation to you to join and help in this particular drive.
This project/initiative aims at buying sanitary towels and tissue that will be distributed to girls within Voi-Taita Taveta County
They are calling upon the community at large to offer any contribution to make this project a success and in the end, make it possible for that young girl to continue with their normal day to day activities. Together we can certainly make the Girls happy.
