New trade center at Mgange

Mgange Nyika and Mgange Dawida residents have a reason to smile after Hon. Granton Samboja officially opened their market on the 10th of January for public use.

The two markets that were started by the previous County administration had stalled. Through joint efforts of the county government with area MCA Hon. Anselm Mwadime the project was a complete success.

This was an aim to fulfill the wishes of the residents as they prioritized it during the CIDP barazas.

The new trade center at Mgange

“I urge all project management committees on ground should not go fall in the hands of some contractors to change some items in the initial BQs for their benefits.

I am not going to entertain contractors delivering sub standard works. We shall be open to the public. All project details and costs will be available for the residents to access any time and I will ensure we get value for their money.

We are also going to set up a new open air market in Mgange Nyika where the current cattle dip grounds are in order decongest the Mgange town during market days.”
