The art of acceptance

Accepting our own different situations is the only thing that can keep us on toes and ready to fight to move on and to make a difference. Most people do not take the chance and accept the different things that happened in their lives were for a certain purpose.

Sit down reflect on it, what do you think? Do you have it in you to accept all that happens in your life? Can you walk round hold your head high even though it was embarrassing at the moment?

The strongest person in the world is the person who lives with no regret. He or she is accepting to whatever situation that comes to them. Sitting back and regretting why it happened won’t help at all. Don’t regret it; take the initiative of making it better, of making a change. Do not let it happen. Life is just too short to live in regret. Yes you made a mistake and yes it was a difficult transition but no you do not have to live in the past. You do not have to put your head down because you are ashamed. Do not give people the power and the ability to define you. It doesn’t matter what they think all that matters is that you are strong enough to look over your drawbacks and still make life better.

Anyone can make the same mistake but what is most important is how they deal with the situation at hand. Are you willing to change it or are you going to use it to make good of your mistake. So many people have made mistakes in life but they still stepped out of that box they made in life. They used those mistakes to make something better of their life. They failed; they stood up and decided to take charge of their lives, and not letting regret mask the future they were supposed to have. They did not let it cloud their judgment since that is all it does.

Mistakes should not be used to condemn one-self or make you put yourself down. Every single person has made decisions they regret at a point in their lives. Everyone has done things they were not proud of. We all do some atrocities in life but all in all, you can get the best of such situations. At least you will know what not to do in future. You may never know but the problem you encountered today due to some mistake might have saved you a lot or prevented a much larger loss in your future.

Some things are bound to happen in life and if you do not do them then you are committing yourself to future misfortunes. You do not get to skip some stages in life; they will come back to you they will affect you and they may haunt you at that point. The life people live is difficult, the decision they make rather costly and they will always have repercussions.

Our choices will make or break us, a nation or they will make something small great. This however will only be done under the condition that you put your past behind you and focus on creating a prosperous future.

Use your mistake to make it in life. Do a change over, touch a life.
